The gate Feasibility is computed in code before the model is ever called. It refuses impossible builds — and common-but-wrong ones, like 100% infill for strength — instead of politely obliging.
A digital range instructor in your phone. Upload a target and it computes the delta between where you hit and where the physics say the round should land — then diagnoses why. A 500Hz-filtered shot timer clocks draws and splits through your pocket.
The gate The physics is code. The diagnosis reads all eight fault directions, weights each by how tight the group is, and is covered by a pure-logic unit test. The coach only narrates what the solver found.
The spine
Every system here runs the same shape. Deterministic code establishes the facts. The model does the one thing code can't — judgment, language, a read — and only over the facts it was handed. Then code gets the last word: the output is checked against source before anyone sees it, and anything that can't be confirmed is flagged, not guessed. From the BuildWise anatomy Many concerns funnel into one grounded prompt, and one model call. Everything left of the model is deterministic — same inputs, same context, every time. A blocker is refused in code; the model is never handed a physics question it could get wrong.
From the BallisticLens anatomy A measured stream from the world — the target photo, classical CV to a centroid — and a predicted stream from the build — zero, height-over-bore, velocity through the solver. They converge on one number: the delta between where the rounds went and where they should have. Everything downstream reads that number.
